Question on Education

Can technology be over used in the class room, and how?

  1. Definitely! I think that if technology is ALL a teacher used, it would be too much. Technology is inevitable and will start at an extremely young age for these students. I believe that it's important to also utilize the small gap of time before technology completely takes over. Students must learn to develop their motor skills, handwriting, etc. before anything else. So if a teacher solely relies on technology, it may end up hurting the child's development more than helping.

  2. I agree with LaurenJean. There are many important skills that don't involve technology or to which technology could be detrimental. Technology can be over-used if it takes up so much time and energy that these non-technological skills are not addressed.
